Shipping automotive equipment is not the same as shipping a small box. Product size, weight, manufacturer, destination, freight requirements, carrier conditions, and delivery access can all affect cost, timing, and handling.
Shipping Varies by Product and Destination
Many ARESCO products are large, heavy, palletized, or manufacturer-supplied. Shipping cost, transit time, carrier requirements, and delivery method can vary by product, destination, order size, availability, and current carrier conditions.
Review shipping details carefully before placing orders for vehicle lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, compressors, paint booths, shop equipment, parts, and accessories.
Freight Items
Freight items may require a commercial delivery address, loading dock, forklift, liftgate, appointment scheduling, or additional access planning. Residential delivery, limited-access delivery, liftgate service, storage, re-delivery, and missed appointments may involve additional costs or carrier requirements.
The buyer is responsible for making sure the delivery location can receive the equipment unless a separate delivery or installation arrangement has been reviewed.
Availability and Transit Times
Estimated shipping and transit times are not guarantees. Availability, manufacturer processing, freight scheduling, carrier delays, weather, holidays, remote delivery areas, and special-order products may affect timing.
Do not schedule installation, labor, or project deadlines until shipping, delivery, and site readiness details have been reviewed.
Inspect Shipments Before Signing
Inspect equipment and packaging before signing for delivery whenever possible. If damage is visible, note it with the carrier, take photos, keep packaging, and use the Support page promptly.
If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, document the condition with photos and keep all packaging materials until the issue has been reviewed.
Shipping Is Not Installation
Shipping or freight delivery does not automatically include installation, assembly, anchoring, electrical work, hydraulic fluid, leveling, site preparation, or removal of old equipment. Installation should be reviewed separately for eligible equipment.
Review the Installation page before ordering if the product requires site planning.
